A seasoned management team is certainly important, but of equal or greater importance is the experience level of the associates who our clients deal with on a daily basis. The more experienced the associate, the more positive an impact we can have on our client's business. To that end, Co-nexus attracts the best and brightest engineering and support staff to ensure the best possible experience for our clients. As an example, our client facing associates average 17 years of industry experience. Our belief has paid off for our clients. Co-nexus has achieved top client satisfaction ratings for the past four years.
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Co-nexus Communication Systems, Inc. is a privately held corporation.
Robert Irvin is a widely respected telecommunications expert with a diverse 25-year background in voice and data integration, computer telephony and converged telephony technologies.
In a career that includes implementing applications for 30 percent of the Fortune 500, Robert’s past success stories include:
- Designing and implementing one of the largest private communication networks in the nation at the time
- Creating a communications technology firm, which emerged as a leading telecommunications provider (one of Houston's Top 100 small businesses)
- Facilitating the merger of that technology firm with another communications firm
Robert assembled the development team responsible for the design, manufacturing and distribution of the new firm's CT-based call recording solution (CXM).
With over 20 years of leadership, Michael has played a key role in the design and implementation of communication systems for thousands of clients throughout the United States.
Being raised in a family telecommunications business gave Michael a clear direction for his future early in life. After serving in the United States Air Force, Michael began his career in the technical area of the industry and transitioned to sales a few years later.
After a successful career as a National Accounts Manager at Executone, Michael launched a start up telecommunications company. In less than two years, the company supported many regional and national accounts. Michael's company was later merged with another. The combined companies became one of the fastest growing and most successful in the industry in the Central United States in the 1990's. Michael then participated in the merger of that technology firm with the # 1communications firm in the United States.
Prior to coming on board at Co-nexus, James Smith acted as director of engineering with a nationally recognized communications firm. James’ contribution to the CT-based call recording product (CXM) was key to the successful introduction of the product to the communications arena.
James served as manager and developer for the State of Tennessee Employment Commission IVR application as well as the State of Texas AFDC/Food Stamp IVR application (one of the nation's largest applications of its kind). James’ past successes were instrumental in the original convergence that shaped the integration of PC-based voice mail and interactive voice response technologies.
Alan Robbins and his sales teams are responsible for thousands of system deployments across the country. Prior to joining Co-nexus, Alan was in the telephony finance sector where he helped business partners develop creative and effective ways to acquire technology.
