SOUTHERN NATIONAL BANK
"This team understands our requirements
and desires. They work to the best of their ability to provide
both short term and long-term solutions."
Dena F. Lee, Chief Information Officer,
Southern National Bank of Texas
The "Historic" Southern National Bank of Texas combines the rich traditions of the past with technology of the future to create a financial home for the residents of Harris and Fort Bend Counties. An independent bank with strength and stability, Southern National Bank is dedicated to supporting the community.
Originally chartered under the name Bellfort
National Bank, the doors of 9000 West Bellfort first opened on
January 15, 1985. One hundred and seventy shareholders, 20 directors
and 30 employees set out to serve the communities in Southwest
Houston and Fort Bend County.
In 1989 the name of the Bank was changed to
Southern National Bank of Texas to eloquently define the future
direction that would focus on providing Southern Hospitality
with each transaction. The new name provided an opportunity for
expansion.
SITUATION
Southern National Bank needed a reliable way to keep its customers and employees connected between multiple branches and a way to record telephone wire transfers. Most importantly, the bank needed a vendor that would consistently provide a high level of service.
SOLUTION
Co-nexus implemented reliable and easy-to-use telephone switches to keep the bank's branches connected. To solve the challenge of recording telephone wire transfers, Co-nexus included its functional web-based software suite, Co-nexus CXM® (Customer Experience Management).
RESULTS
Each branch of the bank is now able to stay connected to the needs of their clients. Co-nexus CXM® allows the bank to record and recall telephone wire transfers, ensuring that the bank's $100+ million in daily transfers are accurately transacted. |
